Our Story

We didn't set out to build
something big.
Just something real.

The Marquise Cafe opened its doors on Pasadena Avenue with a simple conviction: that a neighborhood café should feel like a place people actually want to stay. Not rush through. Not just grab and go. Stay.

That meant choosing a local roaster over a commodity blend. Sourcing dairy from farms we could drive to. Making sure the espresso machine was worth the investment, and the cocktail program was worth the wait.

By night, we learned that the same tables, the same walls, the same warm light — they simply asked for a different kind of conversation. So we stayed open. Poured something stronger. And found that our regulars loved it just as much.
